The beginnings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the 2000s, we started going regularly to the orphanage in Debrecen, and then to the smaller children's homes that were built later, to organize colorful playful programs for the children, to help them learn, and to introduce them to the biblical values and the power of faith in Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also put a lot of emphasis on this because we saw it as important to have a certain point in their lives that helps them when everything around them becomes uncertain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relationship with some of them has remained since then, they have since become parents, but they have not forgotten the songs, the sessions, and the joint programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beginning of the puppet team<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our puppet troupe grew out of this mission work in 2006, which became part of the Pal\u00e1nta Sorsford\u00edt\u00f3 Foundation<\/a> 's Orsz\u00e1gj\u00e1r\u00f3 B\u00e1bmisszi\u00f3<\/a>ministry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, we regularly invited the Pal\u00e1nta puppet team from Budapest to larger children's programs that we organized, so that they enrich the program with their puppet shows. They were happy to come, but on one occasion they suggested that we should get involved and start a new puppet group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We immediately fell in love with it, so we traveled to Budapest for the nearest OBM conference. We were very impressed by everything we saw and experienced there, and we would have preferred to do it right away. There was only one small hitch: we didn't have the funds to buy the equipment. And here came the miracle: less than half a year had passed and we already had all the equipment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An American team came to Debrecen. We met them, got to know them, and they also got to know the mission we were doing. After they went home, they decided that they wanted to support this ministry. They reported on the work we did here, and this is how donations came to their mission to support the children's mission in Debrecen. From this donation, we were able to buy the entire puppet equipment, and that summer we started visiting the children's homes to delight the children living there with puppet shows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, we also experienced how God miraculously provided us with a vehicle with which we could continue the mission; we could transport the puppeteers and the equipment. We saw the hand of God as he went before us and met all our needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, we mainly went to the children's homes to organize programs for the children living there, but from the first year, our school performances also started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Christmas and Easter, we started visiting kindergartens and elementary schools regularly with our holiday-related puppets reflecting biblical values, which make the real message of the holidays understandable and accessible in the children's language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to school\/kindergarten performances, we visited other institutions: churches, churches, homes for the elderly, and many other places across the border from here and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the 2000s, in cooperation with the F\u00e1klya Gy\u00fclekezetek (Torch Churches)<\/a>, we started organizing free summer camps for disadvantaged children in Nagydobos. After a gap of a few years, these camps started again in 2021, and since then we have organized them every year to the delight of the children and young people of Nagydobos and Olcsva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beginning of the puppet troupe in Nagydobos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In addition to our team in Debrecen, a team in Nagydobos<\/a>was started in 2022. The leader of the team there is a young mother who herself participated in our children's camps as a child, and has now joined this mission together with her children. Together, they enthusiastically bring the good news to Nagydobos and the surrounding settlements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are very grateful to God, who made it possible for our team to start and operate continuously since 2006. We are very grateful to Pal\u00e1nta Sorsford\u00edt\u00f3 Foundation<\/a>so that we could join to the Orsz\u00e1gj\u00e1r\u00f3 B\u00e1bmisszi\u00f3<\/a>that they stand behind us and support us in everything. We are grateful to individuals, churches, and other institutions who financially supported us to continue this mission.
